Morning all,

I was just wondering how many intact males there are out there.  I have a female I thought of breeding (if she is qualified, how and when that determination occurs I don't know yet) in the late spring of 2006.  She is considered a black and white, but really looks like a marble-black.  Her mother is a tan and white (Laska) and her father is a marble (Fred).  I wouldn't want any male to close to her line.  Any help?

Thanks,

Elaine and Nika

Hi Elaine, You can count Louie (on the RSC Regerstry as Pyotr Ruusk) as and "elible bachelor" I would like to have him fixed, but we want to do our part in the north amercan spaniel population b3fore we retire him. We are in Albuqueruqe NM. He Just turned a year old in Dec 04, Hes Blk and Marbled His mother is Betty (also Black marbled) and his father is Pjer (the pretties apricot marble) Both of his parennts have excellent hunting qualifications and i would like to continue Louie's litters in this fashion, as II think think the breed makes a lovely hunting partner. I've had a few flushing breeds in my life, none so in tune to their partner as this breed.
